Karina is named after my younger sister. She was only the girl amongst three brothers, so she was treated like a boy. When we were little, we used to make nests together in trees. We grew up in the countryside in Hilversum. My family travelled a lot. We went skiing when I was ten, and that's the best memory I have of my sister.

We haven't spoken for twelve years. I have a lot of good memories of her. She has been always a loyal sister. But I don't miss her. If we have an urgent matter to discuss, we will meet, but until then, I don'T think it's really necessary to catch up again.
